Informasi terbaru dari RIM bahwa Blackberry Monaco akan segera diluncurkan pada bulan Oktober 2011 ini. Blackberry Monaco alias Blackberry Torch 9850 merupakan ponsel layar sentuh dengan luas layar sebesar 3,7 Inci. Blackberry Monaco akan mengusung sistem operasi terbaru, yakni BlackBerry OS 6.1.

Blackberry Monaco di klaim memiliki resolusi  layar paling tinggi diantara ponsel BlackBerry lainnya, yakni 800 x 480 piksel.  Selain itu pula RIM juga manambahkan Prosesor 1.2 GHz, kapasitas memori 8 Gigabite, kamera 5 megapiksel  yang  mampu merekam video 720p, slot microSD, bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G Mobile hot spot, dan baterai 1.230 mAh.
